The Santa Clarita Christian girls volleyball team advanced to the quarterfinals of the CIF Southern Section Division VAA playoffs after a five-game win over Upland Christian.
The high school football playoffs begin tonight for three teams from the Foothill League. Valencia, the Foothill League champion, is home for a game against Paso Robles.
Canyon is home against San Luis Obispo. Hart is on the road against Arroyo Grande.
