Saugus Girls Cross Country Team Wins 7th State Title In A Row | KHTS Radio
Sophomore Samantha Ortega paced the Saugus girls to their seventh CIF State championship in a row. She finished in second place in the girls Division II race.
Five runners from Saugus finished in the top 50 as the Centurions edged La Costa Canyon for the state crown.
On the boys side, Saugus was second in the Division II state meet. AJ Yarnall set the school record and finished in second place on the course at Woodward Park in Fresno.
